V1W/M1/M2 - 6X6 Extension

This is not a direct bolt on kit. You will most likely need to fab a drive shaft and upper/lower links in order to make this kit suit your build. Hardware is offered as an option for those who have an ample supply of screws in their shop. The 6x6 extension is set as the 78mm width and is compatible with all of the V1W 78mm With parts. You may need pacers on the shock towers/axles to achieve optimal shock angle and clearance. I used the TRX6 Axles in this build with a portal delete kit and a Vanquish VFD Transmission.

This kit is compatible with the V1W, V1WM1 and V1WM2 Chassis. There is no need to upgrade to the V1W M2 Chassis to use this kit.

The link Mount gives you 4 Positions to mount your Upper/Lower links to adjust the axle spacing. The supplied brace is not needed but recommended. If you do not use the supplied brace, I recommend fabricating a brace of your own where the upper links attach.

To Install: Using the 3x10mm and Locknuts attach the extension and joiner plates by the two furthest mounting holes and tighten the screws. Carefully align the the chassis and extension. Then insert and tighten the two center 3x10s with the locknut. Insert your Brace at the desired hole and measure for your links. I recommend Using the position the further forward on the extension. This will make longer links and give you the ability to easily move the axle rear wards 6mm at a time to achieve the desired axle spacing without remaking your links. If you go up in tire size and require more spacing this allows for quick adjustments without new fab work.

Due to the nature of 3D printing, items may contain tiny visual blemishes. Items may require some trimming and painting for optimal visual appeal/fit; similar to what you would expect to do with model parts.

IMPORTANT: Do not use power drivers on 3D printed parts. Over tightening printed parts and cause premature cracking and crushing. Always ensure you hardware will not bottom out in the screw pocket. This can also cause at 3D printed part to break prematurely.

Printed Parts - These parts will be printed in Black (Unless otherwise requested) using advances slicing methods for maximum strength. All 3D printed parts come with a lifetime replacement guarantee. If you break a part, simply send us a photo and your order number. The photo is simply to evaluate for common issues and help identify potential improvements to existing designs.
