Snake Bite Body Clip Retainers

Snake Bite body clips are designed to retain your body clip when not in use. There are two types of retainable Snake bites; Single Bite and Double Bite. The Retainers are secured to your Lexan body or desired surface with an 8x2.5mm BHS (Included). Body Clips not included.

Double snake bite is intended for body posts that are mounted no further than 40mm apart. They measure 80mm from clip to clip hole with a 40mm centered mount hole.

Single snake bite is intended to be used where the body posts are too far apart or only one post exists or on a battery retaining plate.

Snake Bite tabs provide a small 10mm tab to make grasping body clips easier while not being overly intrusive.

Snake Bites are 3D printed in TPU (Flexible Polyurithain). The Body clip hole it printed at a diameter of 1.6mm and will stretch for up to a 2mm body clip to fit through. This is not rubber and you can not rip the retainer off while removing the body clip.

Due to the nature of 3D printing, items may contain tiny visual blemishes. Items may require some trimming and painting for optimal visual appeal/fit; similar to what you would expect to do with model parts.

IMPORTANT: Do not use power drivers on 3D printed parts. Over tightening printed parts and cause premature cracking and crushing. Always ensure you hardware will not bottom out in the screw pocket. This can also cause at 3D printed part to break prematurely.

Printed Parts - These parts will be printed in Black (Unless otherwise requested) using advances slicing methods for maximum strength. All 3D printed parts come with a lifetime replacement guarantee. If you break a part, simply send us a photo and your order number. The photo is simply to evaluate for common issues and help identify potential improvements to existing designs.
